Halogen Replacement Bulbs My Halogen Downlight Bulb Doesn't Work But A Replacement Bulb Doesn't Work Either. Whats Wrong?

My halogen downlight bulb doesn't work but a replacement bulb doesn't work either. Whats wrong? - halogen replacement bulbs

Obviously they have no idea what to do with plants. I've tried a pear, which I know works to use, but do not work in this connection. I read something about the processors. That is the problem and how can I replace it?

It seems there is no power over the media. Check the breaker box to see whether a circuit breaker trip. If so, turn off and on again. Is it an outside light that can be obtained from the development of GFI. Check your external outputs and see if we released the red piece. If so, press and try to light.

If none of these solve the problem, you may have a faulty lamp, faultly light switch or a loose cable. If you do not feel comfortable with electrical work, call an electrician.

Is there a switch that controls the outlet you?

Use downlight into an outlet you know works. Solve the crime.

I bet that 12 volts.
Transformers party, you need a new light.
You are an electrician procuring one. If you also check to all others, all in the same time is the use for other far behind.
had the same problem, I changed Accessories 240Volt luck with 30Watt bulbs, I never use them again. that only in the last 5-10 years.

Transformer for the lighting makes 240Volt at 24 volts is very easy to change, 2 cables of the transformer of 240 volts son and two 24-volt transformer
Make sure the power is off before starting work.

should be a fuse in the transformer, it is necessary to check the voltage meter, you do not know what will find its best to anyone, since it can kill it do 240VAC.

Hi Gary - you will be able to tell if your background is light, marked low voltage (transformer) for the control of blood is one of the lamps. The most that I have installed in recent years been 12V. It is a very common practice to fit any low-voltage lighting with transformer. As a rule, to the special transformer --
Turn on the unit.
Delete the installation of the lamp.
Gently ease mounting ceiling. It is probably in the spring clips instead.
Once the bracket is from the ceiling, floor and pull the cord free care. (Somewhere in the vicinity of the hole where the device is likely to remove the processor.) Carefully cable required to provide to the processor on board the hole, so it can draw down. You can then disconnnect lamp and transformer.
Take a large electrical transformer, and receive an equal value.
Installation is the reverse of the above. Make sure that, at thatnew transformer and power cord is clearly the hole light assembly before pressing the assembly into the hole. Halogens very hot and can damage the cable and / or processors, provided that result from the complex.
If you can not find a transformer near the broken light, then you can have a large transformer delivers all the lights have. If this is the case, I recommend you consult a qualified electrician to fix it.

Sounds like the transformer. Some of them are like a pencil. In general, simply disconnect. Take it to a wholesale market for electricity, which are replaced by a new one. If this fails, then you must replace the entire system. They are very expensive about £ 7.10

When the lamp has two pins that plug is inserted into the socket then you have a lamp with 12 volts, and it is in the vicinity of the transformer installation. When the lamp is running thick pins in the socket, then it is 240 volts, the system and there is no transformer.

IF First, the processor is not likely and has a similar voltage 240/12 50-60. be replaced. Look in the attic or removing the lamp and gently pull the cable (You may need) the body of the fitting, the processor in the cable, remove one foot away.
